Then keep the book handy and from time to time look back at it and write something down. From time to time you can probably take a little break and get back at it again.

There's a website called peeranswer.com that is like this. But there's only like 150 active members and no one really helps :/ just a suggestion though. Oh and like yahoo answers, there's also gmail answers

Well it all depends, there are only a certain amount of people who are good with certain subjects, ex. myself, I prefer to stick to history, but I do some work in E.L.A, writing, math, and science and biology. Some people are good for certain things.

Your expectations of OpenStudy seem unrealistic. You want free, immediate help and are complaining because you don't get fast responses. Instead of spending all this time doing that, you could be analyzing your assignment and drafting a first response of your own. In the long term, it's what YOU do that determines how well you learn material, develop thinking and writing skills and the like.
