I have to write a compare and contrast essay of history and art. This is what I have so far:
History is Art, and Art is History. Both subjects teach you about the past, and how we evolved from then. Art teaches us more about History, and History teaches us about Art. Things like paintings on cave walls from the caveman, or decorated bowls from China, teach us about life from long ago. It shows beliefs, religion, and cultures. The two subjects almost teach the same thing if you think about it.


There are some exceptions to the comparisons between History and Art. Art doesn’t only teach about pieces of work from the past, it also shows you how to create your own masterpieces. And History doesn’t just talk about Art, it also tells about events and people that changed the way of life. Both subjects have their own things to teach besides art from long ago.

so writing is kinda my thing >.< haha, and in this case you could probably add a paragraph just giving an example of a historical piece of art and some background on it. what is the criteria for this? it could help me figure out what else you could add to make it as well written as possible

okay so if i were you, i would basically google a historic painting or drawing and the story behind it as 2 why it matters in history. that will enable you to cite the website, and make it pretty easy to mash up 2 more paragraphs.
