6. Explain the role of the small claims courts. What kinds of cases do they hear? How are they different from other courts?

This is what i have so far. I just need help with how are they different from other courts Small claim courts have limited jurisdiction to hear civil cases commonly dealing with collecting small debts, property damage, landlord-tenant disputes, small business problems, and the like. Cases are usually heard by a judge and involve claims ranging up to a maximum of $1,000 - $5,000 depending on the state.
