OpenStudy (alyssakin):

How is acceleration related to Newton’s second law of motion?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Second Newton's law states: (I will do this simply without vectors) \(\color{#000000}{ \displaystyle {\rm F}={\rm m}\cdot {\rm a} }\) where, F - force (applied on the object), m - mass (of the object), a - acceleration (in the direction of the force applied (or, in the direction of the F))

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

So the acceleration is not just related, it is the essence of the Newton's Second law.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

well, you can certainly see at least some connection ... :)
