@Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

Explain in three sentences how a given similarity or difference between multiple artistic mediums affect the meaning of the work as a whole @uybuyvf You have started off correctly with your statements of a poem using figurative language to get the point across to a reader and likewise with a song directing it's melody in the form of catchy words or phrase's. So, its saying to explain in 3 sentence's how these example's affect the meaning of the work as a whole. Using poetry for an example, how would that figurative language affect the meaning of the work? Firstly, I need to know....does this have to be written from a negative or positive sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um doesn't matter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that if their is a song and a poem about the same topic for example it will have similarities and differences

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im guessing it will tell the same story but in different ways...but how does that change the meaning?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This question was given to me by my English teacher as a product of The Vietnam wall.. poem..pictures..and video

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There*

Atsie (atsie):

Okay, so figurative language could affect the meaning of the work because that work has a point that needs to be made. It has a voice that needs to be spoken in order to change a life. Figurative language affect's the meaning in the sense that it makes the meaning MORE pronounced. It adds to the meaning and makes it more understandable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

..hmmm thanks

Atsie (atsie):

Its the only thing that could possibly make sense honestly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and a catchy melody ...meaning -the hook of a song..would..help listeners remember and think about the topic

Atsie (atsie):

Yes! There! That's more fitting to it I think. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thanksss
