OpenStudy (lilday12):

Which of the following are more precise than a weight of 10 pounds? Check all that apply. A. 15.5 pounds B. 8.0 pounds C. 50 pounds D. 30 pounds

OpenStudy (mathmale):

fill in the blank: 15.5 and 8.0 pounds are accurate to the nearest ______________ .

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Precise, given to this example, it would appear as it means exact amount, not rounded, in this terms I suppose. So, what is 'precise' above? What do you think ISN'T rounded?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey @mathmale where is the equation edditor

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Showing the accurate measure? Not 50 and 30? Why? 50 can be 50.5 or 50.6, just rounded. We'd never really know. 30, could 29.7 just as likely.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

So, what can it be? Can it be A or B? Or maybe.... Both?

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Like the people said above, what is precise in your definition? What do we look for ;)?

OpenStudy (lilday12):

Is it B

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

A and B :) @lilday12
