OpenStudy (purpleminions3):

Which word is the best antonym for the word subsequent? A. Preceding B. Revealed C. Hidden D. Following E. Recurring

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

Do you have a guess?

OpenStudy (deercult):

Subsequent: "coming after something in time, following" Maybe that'll help you a little!

OpenStudy (purpleminions3):

Not really.

OpenStudy (purpleminions3):

Oh so it's following?

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

Well, a little trick to do is look up each word and see if it seems like it's the opposite of the word 'subsequent'. It might take a while, but you'll like the grade you get. ;)

OpenStudy (deercult):

Yes, as in coming after something. "This event is subsequent to that event" = "This event comes after that event" I agree with what Gabby said, too. Absolutely look up definitions if you need it, it's super helpful!

OpenStudy (purpleminions3):

Ok

OpenStudy (purpleminions3):

I think it's preceding

OpenStudy (anonymous):

preceding
