This is a tricky one. Haven't done much geometry but ill do what i can.

I' say it's 4. As you could tell 5 would work if you just slice across the prism, and there's no way you can have a prism with a 2-sided base. So it's less than 5, and would be either 3 or 4. Making prisms I couldn't draw a 5-sided cross-section from a triangular. I can get a rectangular prism to have a 5-sided cross section if you cut near one corner of the base and then exit along the opposite edge. Had some help from a friends. Hope it helps
