Well, we can rule out two of the obvious answers. The trucking industry definitely DID boom, because NAFTA allowed free trade across the mexico-american border. Therefore, more freighters were needed to transport the products now coming to us through trade from Mexico. Therefore, we know it isn't B. Also, because of the boom of commerce now coming across the border, many bridges were built to accommodate the new amount of truckers driving to and fro, so we can eliminate C. Now, if I were to answer you TRUTHFULLY, I'd say a, Highway 59 was widened. This was widened because of growing daily commute from -locals-, not because of NAFTA. However, because most school systems like to praise NAFTA and completely deny that it had negative effects, the answer they are probably looking for is D, Many businesses left Dallas and Huston.
