Urgent! Need help. I know the formula Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) but I have never had to use so I need to know when I am doing the distance between # and # is #, do I do Just one of each number of do I have to include the numbers I have multiple of.

Example: I have 3,5,6,6,8 - mean is 9(proably not rue)
Do i only do 3,5,6,8 or do I have to include that extra copy?
