OpenStudy (djbreezy):

Which ordered pair in the form (x,y) is a solution of this equation (x+6)y=9 A. (12,2) B. (2,1) C. (4,1) D. (3,1)

ILovePuppiesLol (ilovepuppieslol):

try out the options i will try option D ;) option D says that the solution is (3,1) put y=1 and x=3 if the equation holds true then this option is correct \((x+6)y=9\) \((3+6)1=9\) \((9)1=9\) \(9=9\) so D is correct
