The impact of the Holocaust on Jew's was devastating. Jew's, as well as many other groups lost their dignity, their freedom, and their pride due to the hate of a leader whom in turn hated God. Jew's were known as God fearing human being's who worshiped him with all their heart's, and for this reason the whole of the Holocaust had started. Jew's had to hide themselves, distinct themselves from other creeds of people, and wear a most embarrassing yellow star to invite the hatred of the German's, the spit of their enemies, and the cruelty of their friends. Also, when in hiding, they had to ration food portion's in order to not starve, as it was impossible for them to make their faces shown. They had to learn to be deceptive in various matter's. For example Corrie Ten Boom hid Jew's underneath her table under the floor. Anne Frank had a hiding spot for her and her family behind a cabinet door that opened and closed leading to a set of quarter's in which all member's of the household quivered till a break in was resolved, or till the Gestapo had finally left from their prying searches. To conclude, Jew's as well as the rest were not allowed to be human. They weren't allowed to be normal. They weren't allowed to live their God given purpose's. They were allowed to be tortured, gassed, and finally allowed to die. That is the most ugly form of hatred on mankind that has ever existed. (I didn't Google anything, I didn't look up anything. I simply have read the Diary of Anne Frank a million times, and her story is ingrained in my head. So thus why I was able to answer this. )
