@umerlodhi

What's the question?

OpenStudy (narissa):

oh sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, every place it says x, put a 2 for it, how do you write that out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hint: 14+2 = ? 9 * 2 = ?

OpenStudy (narissa):

6+ 14+2-9 x 2

OpenStudy (narissa):

6+16-19

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Last one should be 18, not 19. So you have this: Right? \[6+\sqrt{16}-\sqrt{19} = ?\]

OpenStudy (narissa):

yes

OpenStudy (narissa):

6+16-18*

OpenStudy (narissa):

i got 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. You have to do the square root. So use your calculator to find: \[\sqrt{16} and \sqrt{18}\]

OpenStudy (narissa):

ohh ok 4 - *3 square root 2*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right. So Square root 2 is about 1.414. So now you have. 6+4-(3*1.414) = ? So what does that equal?

OpenStudy (narissa):

5.758

OpenStudy (narissa):

thank you @Zelda
