Amerigo Vespucci was the person that explored enough of South America to deem it a new continent. So it can be pointed out that option "B" is the correct option in respect to the question given. Amerigo vespucci was an italian explorer and he was born on 9th of March 1454 and died on 22nd February 1512. He was born in Florence of italy. the name of his spouse was Maria Cerezo. Amerigo vespucci took the position as the observer in several expeditions on invitation from King Manuel I of Portugal. He was also a great cartographer.
