OpenStudy (photon336):

Well for starters, you would switch x and y and solve for y with inverse functions

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please let the student post the actual question first, OK?

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

To find the inverse function of a function, follow these steps: 1) Change f(x) to y 2) Now, switch x and y. Wherever there is a x, replace it with a y. And where ever there is a y, replace it with a x. 3) Solve for y 4) Finally, change the y to to \(\bf f^{-1}(x)\).
