Why do people always tell direct answer!?! It would be awesome if no one tells direct answer and explaining! that would make OS the BEST place ever! <3

people give direct answers because A, they are lazy, B, they are new to the site and don't understand, or C, they don't care about the rules, if you see them give direct answers, simply tell them not to and that it is against the code of conduct, if they do it again, report them :) If u are the one asking the question, ask them to explain, if they don't report them and wait for someone else to help :)

To some, giving direct answers is like taking a candy out of a jar. Giving explanations however takes a bit of time, but those who are true helpers will do just that. :)

yup thxs! Well there is a lot of other site familier like OS but there is one I really like too it Brainly. But there really strict also the answer has to be Write at least 20 characters to explain it well. Or you can not change it also the other thing that some people really copy and pasta from google and just give answer! But Brainly says" Keep in mind that it's forbidden to copy content from other websites, books or any other material to which you do not own the copyrights to. We know that you can solve these problems on your own!" But I just want to make some changes and some people knows what Brainly is bc they have it! But OS is cool but I think they can reach it to another HIGHER level and be better!

I don't see how that is directly answering when it's only leading the poster towards the correct answer. There were no explicit statements as to a direct result.

@Tennis5518 , I was replying to @MuH4ha. My apologies for not designating a specific recipient; I didn't mean to point fingers or offend anyone in any way.

Anyhow, I've asked a mod to review my answer, and I've been told that the way I responded was incorrect and therefore qualified as a "direct answer".
Though I do not know why you designate one mistake as "trolling", because it was an honest mistake which I am willing to rectify, I will revise my methods for the future. Thank you for pointing out my error.
