Nico is saving money for his college education. He invests some money at 5% and $1900 less than the amount at 3%. The investments produced a total of $143 interest in 1 yr. How much did he invest at each rate?? please help i have no idea how to do this

You need to make this into two algebraic equations. Here's the first one. .05*x+.03*y=143
