Really easy medal! In a 30-60-90 right triangle, the length of the hypotenuse is __ times the length of the short leg, and the length of the long leg is __ times the short leg. I wrote that it was 1/2 and √3/2. Is this right?

OpenStudy (okdutchman7):

1/2 2

OpenStudy (lina777):

What do you mean @okdutchman7

OpenStudy (okdutchman7):

half double

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x \sqrt{3}\] for long

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x for hypotenuse, and x for short leg.

OpenStudy (okdutchman7):

nvm you are right. i thought you meant hypotenuse instead of long leg

OpenStudy (okdutchman7):

your answers are correct

OpenStudy (lina777):

Oh, okay, are you sure? I think it is just a weirdly worded question.... @okdutchman7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lina777 Look at the picture I posted. your answers are wrong

OpenStudy (lina777):

Oh, I see! Okay, thank you! @Zelda

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) Mark response please.

OpenStudy (lina777):

So the answer for the second one would be √3? Just reiterating. @Zelda
