Help. Am I right? I will give out a medal. I know that A = ½ ap. But I do not know how I would find the measurements of the Apothem and Perimeter.

OpenStudy (sagewilson):

Find the area of a regular hexagon with the given measurement. 6-inch radius A = sq. in.

OpenStudy (sagewilson):

I looked over the question and I think I know how to find the measurements. Given the measurement of the radius, the Apothem would be 6-in as well. And I'm guessing that 6 would also be the measurement of each side. Given the information I just put, it would be A = ½ 6*6. which would give me 3 * 6 = 18.
