Write an argumentative essay for or against setting long-term goals to land a dream job.

Your long term goals would be you and what you plan to do to attempt to get your dream job. Look up what job interests you, then find the requirements it takes to get that job, aka degree, experience, etc. Then put it all together in a essay with enough information on the job and what you plan to do to reach that job in the next.... say 10 years

All depends on what your teacher wants from you. A paragraph should be roughly 5-8 sentences, an essay should be about 3 paragraphs, at leas one body paragraph, a intro paragraph and a concluding paragraph

OK say that you want to be an astronaut. Your first step would be to piece together what it takes. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, biological science, physical science, or mathematics. An advanced degree is desirable. This is what I found online. You can then piece together these to begin with:

Being an Astronaut is a job which many would like to have, but requires lots of work to get the job. You must be adequately learned in engineering, biological science, physical science, or mathematics.

You can then piece together more facts about the job, what it takes, what you plan to do to get that job
