Please help immediately will FAN A major U.S. city reports a 12% increase in decoration sales durring the yearly holiday season. What is the function that shows the total decoration sales by the end of 2015, if decoration sales were 8 million in 2008

OpenStudy (ikou):

Can one person of the 216 people on here at least give me some help?

Directrix (directrix):

What are the answer options?

OpenStudy (ikou):

@Directrix there are no options, its a word question

Directrix (directrix):

Starting with the end of the year 2009 and counting the number of years until the end of 2015, I get 7 years.

Directrix (directrix):

Each of those 7 years, the decoration sales go up by 12% per year. In year 2008, the decoration sales are 12 000 000. So, I'm thinking that the function would be: y = 8 000 000 * (1 + .12)^7 @Ikou
