Consider how the warm-up/cool-down made you feel. Did it help prepare you for the workout? (The workout is running) I don't know how to describe it. I also want to know what the stretches do for you?

The warmup is there to prepare you for the exercise so you wont get sore or get injured so like stretching. and the cool down is there to help your body relax and can also be done by walking and stretching
