If angle JKM = 5x + 18 and m<4=x, what is m<4?

OpenStudy (melstutes):

OpenStudy (melstutes):

Please help

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Are the angle Complementary or Supplementary? @melstutes

OpenStudy (melstutes):

which angles?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Angle JKM

OpenStudy (melstutes):

supplementary?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Yes thats correct

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

So since the angle is supplementary then your equation is: \[5x + 18 + x = 180\]

OpenStudy (melstutes):

6x + 18 = 180 6x = 162 x=27

OpenStudy (melstutes):

I had no idea how to begin

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

x = 27 is correct

OpenStudy (melstutes):

Thank you so much

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Your Welcome ^_^

OpenStudy (melstutes):

Can I ask you another question?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

I would love to help, but I need to get some sleep. I woke up early today and I got on so I could get sleepy.

OpenStudy (melstutes):
