How do you get radius from diameter?

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

Im not sure lol.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf \textit{area of a circle}=\pi r^2\qquad r=radius=\frac{diameter}{2}\)

OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):

that the answer or equation?

OpenStudy (kobeni-chan):

The area of a circle part that jdoe gave is the equation you're using to solve the problem. But first, you need to find the radius. That's what the second part is. Divide the diameter (150) b 2 to get the radius.
