Get x's alone on one side first
@kayders1997 LOL THat first time i read it i though you were calling my name xP
i did that so then it would read -24=7x right then i divide but come up with a really long decimal....would that be right?
Lol
Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation. x−24=8x Step 2: Subtract 8x from both sides. x−24−8x=8x−8x −7x−24=0 Step 3: Add 24 to both sides. −7x−24+24=0+24 −7x=24 Step 4: Divide both sides by -7. −7x/−7=24/−7 x=−24/7
