Why is protein synthesis the basis of molecular biology? Why are they so important?

@PillowFace750 help me

OpenStudy (pillowface750):

srry idk how to do dis good luck tho

OpenStudy (fatir5):

Molecular biology is actually associated with studying molecular basis of different cellular molecules, especially the ones that control cell processes. Yeah! we are talking about genes and modifying those genes according to the product that is needed. For that purpose one should 1st know about what genes are, how they work, how they control and regulate cell, how they communicate with the outside environment of the cell and off course how can they be expressed. This precisely leads us to studying protein synthesis (Transcription and Translation) and once we know the process, we can modify genes and their products to better suit them to our needs. I hope you can relate these two things now :)
