So I have a quick question. Say someone gives a direct answer, and you would like to politly tell them through PM that OS is all about leading the person to the answer. Problem is, they do not allow PMs from people they have not fanned. Should we just explain as a post within the question? Just wondering.

if you don't want the mod to give warning, say so in the reason to go easy on the user

If they are breaking the CoC, then report it
The mods will let them know about the rules and OpenStudy's purpose

pointing out rule breaking on someone's question post can be considered spam because it would not be related to the original question topic
