PLEASE HELP! WILL MEDAL! “You’ll be lonely at first, they admitted, but you’re so nice you’ll make friends fast. And as an impulse tore at her to lie on the floor, to hold to their ankles and tell them she felt she was dying, to offer anything, anything at all, so they might allow her to finish growing up in the town of her childhood, they firmed their mouths and spoke from their chests and they said, It’s decided.” This quote from “Checkouts” by Cynthia Rylant demonstrates that the story is told from what point of view?

It can't be first person, because first person usually uses words like I, but in this case it's She.

OpenStudy (ulink):

I think it's C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Third person omniscient is a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of all of the characters in the story, as opposed to third person limited, which adheres closely to one character's perspective".

OpenStudy (ulink):

So is it C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I suppose. "They" is plural so it most likely would be C..

OpenStudy (ulink):

Thanks, it is C
