OpenStudy (slickster256):

whats the biggest advantage of a democracy Elections are not used because the executive is determined by birth and appoints other officials. The leaders usually have the same ideas about government and agree on making decisions. Local issues are ignored unless it affects the well-being of the whole nation and its people. Citizens have a great influence over who the leaders are and what laws are passed.

OpenStudy (helpkay):

A unitary state is a state governed as one single power in which the central government is ultimately supreme and any administrative divisions (subnational units) exercise only powers that their central government chooses to delegate. The majority of states in the world have a unitary system of government.
