hmmm yes I believe I might be a little confused myself at what we are doing but I believe that they might be doing stuff similar to the first picture of this website http://www.schoolmath.jp/3d/e/student/lesson01/lesson_02.htm which would mean the first one would be a cylinder (do you think that is similar to what you have been learning?)
