Cos and sin problems

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

\[0 < \theta < \frac{ \pi }{ 2 } \] and \[\cos \theta = \frac{ 2 }{ 5 }\] Find sin theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\cos(x)=\frac{2}{5}\]\[\cos^2(x)=\frac{4}{25}\]\[1-\cos^2(x)=1-\frac{4}{25}\]\[\sin^2(x)=\frac{21}{25}\]\[\sin(x)=\pm\frac{\sqrt{21}}{5}\] For 0<x<pi/2, this gives the positive value: \(\frac{\sqrt{21}}{5}\)

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

Oh I forgot about that formula, I understand it, thanks!
