May someone explain to me how to do this? Thanks! http://prntscr.com/agl0qs

What is the total measurement of A + B = ? E + F = ? C + D = ?
180 degrees
Correct, so would you agree that the statement 180 - B = A is valid?
Yes.
Great, so let's make the other two just like that to get: \[180 - B = A\] \[180 - C = D\] \[180-E = F\]
kk
Now they wanted us to find the total of these 3 angles, just to find the sum, we add: \[(180-B)+(180-C)+(180-E)=D+E+F\] So we should rearrange this: \[(180+180+180) - (B+C+E) = D+E+F\] Now, what's 180+180+180?
540
I appreciate you working this out with me so I can learn. You're a great helper! :)
Anytime! So we have \[540 - (B+C+E) = D+E+F\] We actually do know B+C+E. What is it? (Remember: Think Triangles)
180 So 540 - 180 = 360 That's my answer?
Yeppers! \[D+E+F = 540-180=360\] Nice
But is that even real? D + E + F - 360? Looking at the diagram? :/
Like to me it seems it doesn't fit... :/ I don't know why...
Yeah, If you eyeball the the diagram, you can see all 3 of those angles are obtuse, which are angles over 90 degrees and below 180. So the range of D+E+F can be as small as 273 and as large as 537
Okay. Thanks, Bro! I have another one. I'll try and do it myself but if I need help, can you help me again? :)
I don't think I would to be honest, because I have to head to work. I always do check my phone before I lock it up and clock in, so maybe in around 45 minutes when I check it I will for a minute or two.
Okay, Thanks! I'll try and do it fast and see if you can check it.
Alright, ill be on mobile
