Please help!!! Will give medal!!! Two radio stations are 2 miles apart. A ship receives signals from station M 2 seconds before it receives signals from station N. Therefore, relative to station M and N, the ship is setting a hyperbolic course. A) if sound travels at 1100 ft/sec, determine the constant difference in distances from the ship to the stations. B)Use this to write an equation for a horizontal hyperbola centered on the origin describing the ships position. C) Determine the eccentricity.
