OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the first-generation offspring are crossed to each other, what will the punnet square of this cross look like?

OpenStudy (wormynut):

dihybrid or monohybrid?

OpenStudy (kikuo):

1/4 will express the recessive trait and 3/4 will express the dominant trait. That means given two filial 1 generations for one trait such as eyes (Gg, Gg), the resulting punnet square will be GG, Gg, Gg, and gg.

OpenStudy (kikuo):

That's for a monohybrid cross.

OpenStudy (hectoroftroy):

It depends what cross produced "the first generation offspring."

OpenStudy (kikuo):

Yes, you should also specify what the cross looks like. I'm basing my reply off of what's generally taught in my biology class as a basic example.

Your question is not complete. I need info on parents' genotype
