Is this a book, or a research topic? If it's a research topic, you might want to make your idea less broad. It would be hard to specify all the wars of the world into one generalized topic sentence. e.g; One of the biggest wars of the world; WWII (or WWI, Korea, etc)
If it's a book, I'd just put a summerization of what the book is about maybe, a theme you may be focusing on, or an important highlight(s). Remember, keep it short and sweet but with a lot of power, and enough to get your idea across. PM if you need any more help.
