IDK how to figure it out when its a bigger number like that. With the pens I just counted in my head.

see in $10 u got 5 pens 
then in $1 u would get 5/10 pens
so in $24 u would get (5/10)*24 = 12

OH I get it now. So I did 12 /3 = 4. So then I did 4x10=40. I get it! :)
