OpenStudy (james1107):

Identify all the points that are on the following quadratic function: y = x2 - 3x (0,3) (0,0) (2,-2) (-1,4) (-3,15)

OpenStudy (james1107):

@Dani_Rose

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

give me a sec

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

You need to graph this and see which points it crosses

OpenStudy (james1107):

how do i do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

each option corresponds to a value of "x" and its corresponding value for "y". That is, given the value of "x" find the value of "y" and see if it matches the option. Does that help ?

OpenStudy (james1107):

no not really

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets take the first option (0,3) here the value of "x" is 0 and if that is substituted to the equation we get the value of "y" as (0^2 - 3*0) = 0 so (0,3) is not a point on the graph because for the given value of "x" =0, we get a different "y" (we get 0 and not 3, as given in the option)
