Write a short story about two extremely foolish people. Make it a funny story in which the two foolish characters draw silly conclusions about changes in the weather. You might choose to write the story from just one of the characters perspective, or you can write it from both of their perspectives. All you gotta do is write about the Presidential Nominees. Pick two and you're good to go. (I hope that doesn't offend anyone on OS; if so, I apologize)
I could think of a story honestly. Just be creative. You have this. Thing of a funny (yet foolish) circumstance, thus being ironic to the characters. I assume this is for literature.. Maybe you are going irony of characters and their situations. I once read a story about a greedy man who ironically gave to people.. but there was way more to the story that made it out to be so ironic. Or maybe it was that he was so greedy, that no one gave to him (even though he gave to no one) and he eventually needed help but from being so greedy towards others, ironically, he didn't get anything because other's were greedy or had been schemed by him. So, yeah. You get the idea.
