What is a site of mitosis in a plant

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Depends how technical you want to get with it.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Generally speaking, from the root tip to the plant cell.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Mitosis occurs in the meristematic tissues of the plant, apical meristems of roots and stems which increases the length of roots and stems, vascular cambium which produces increase of diameter of roots and stems, and cork cambium which produces new bark cells as the plant increases in diameter. I found this through research, lost how I found it.. But yes.. this is technical terms.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

If you honestly google the mitosis process, you can find SO much. It's isn't too hard to understand once you learn it. Good luck.
