Actually ... as long as i c.. there is nothing wrong with ur 2nd answer ..but the 1st one..

why did u assume 
        (5x - 30) + ( 3x  + 6) = 180 ...
 its a rhombus..so it also parallelogram ..in parallelogram  only allied angles form 180

yes   for No 31  you need o solve

5x - 30 = 3x + 6

Because I thought vertical angles equal 180 I(unless what I take for vertical is not vertical)
