What is the purpose of the Chavins vases?
@IshipDestiel
The only thing I could think of is to pour water for religious ceremonies. I don't think that's it, though. @mathmale @Preetha @unicornbeans
Why not Google "Chavins vase?"
I have tried, not successful. Also I want to learn and understand

I wish I could help but I'm TERRIBLE with history :(
This funerary vase is in the shape of a Jaguar. It is one of the major figures represented in artistic production. The Jaguar embodies the Chavin supernatural realm. They would use it to communicate with spirits entering the underworld. The vase was made by the Chavin's in 200 BCE and originated from North of Peru.
does that help?
also http://www.ancient.eu/Chavin_Civilization/ maybe read under chavin religion
