In your opinion, is it helpful to learn about the past from a specific person's personal experiences?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES! My brain automatically (weirdly) tunes into others' past, and if you give me a textbook, I will learn, but not as much as another's past would. But that is a good question!!

OpenStudy (kelsey.benton00):

Absolutely, when others make mistakes it enables them to teach others about what they should and/or shouldn't do, and saves us a lot of heartache in the end, should we choose to listen :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! It's nice to be able to listen to someone who is experienced in that scenario and get to learn about their point of view on what they witnessed personally.
