Effects of the WWII in East Asia and South Asia?

I have to write an essay comparing how WWII affected East and South Asia. If someone can just give me some ideas on what to write about for how they were similar and different I'd appreciate it.

Yeah I wrote about that, but I also included how not only the fighting damaged the environment but also how the increased need for resources increased mining/timber felling and stuff.

Something I wrote about that I wasn't sure if it was correct was that the idea of the "master race" created by the Nazis affected people in both South and East Asia by creating more discrimination. I'm not sure if people in these regions were actually affected by Nazis ideas or not though. But I assumed there would be some people who were mentally ill, gay, or anything else and they would have been affected by it.

I don't think they have been affected by it as i believe that the members of any Nazi won't be able to reach southern or eastern asia in large enough numbers to have any big affect on the people of China/Japan

The Second World War had a profound influence on the British policy towards India. Britain needed India's manpower to fight the war and, to secure Indian support, was willing to offer to hand over its political power after it won the war. In 1942, Sir Stafford Cripps on his first mission to India made on behalf of the British Government his offer of independence after the war in exchange for cooperation, but the Indian political parties rejected his proposals. The Indian National Congress launched the "Quit India" movement. The Indian National Army led by Subhas Chandra Bose joined the Japanese to fight against the British.
