1.From the toxicology lab, what is vitreous humor? Why do forensic scientists use it? I know that Vitreous humor is a clear liquid inside the eye. Vitreous humor gives the eye its shape. 2.From the survey in the toxicology lab, would you be a good candidate to work in this area of forensic science? Why or why not? 3.From the firearm analysis, what is a rifling number? How is it determined?
Not at all trying to be unkind, I'd recommend that you look up unfamiliar terms (such as "refling number" on the 'Net or in your textbook, and reserve OpenStudy for clarification of what you still don't understand.
The vitreous body is the clear gel that fills the space between the lens and the retina of the eyeball of humans and other vertebrates. It is often referred to as the vitreous humour or simply "the vitreous". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitreous_body
the second one is entirely for ur own opinion, just write wether u think u would be good to be a forensic scientist and ur reasoning
Rifling number is the number of grooves in the rifled barrel. The rifling number can be determined by rotating the bullet and counting the number of the grooves left on the surface. https://hannahc12.wordpress.com/tag/rifling-number/
good luck :)
