Question

So can any one give me tips for playing acoustic guitar? So far i can almost play Seven Nation Army without screwing up

The acoustic guitar strings are thicker than a electric guitar and some people learn on the electric guitar then start practicing on the acoustic guitar later. That's at least how my friend Matt learned how to play. I'm not sure if that helped but it worked for most of the people I know.

I have only been playing for 3 days xD i really like it i just dont have someone to help teach me i mean my sister plays but she isn't a very good teacher

okay so in this picture is the G major chord and i know once you play it your gonna find it easier to play with your #1 finger where #2 should be and your #2 where #3 will me and #3 where #4 should be but NEVER do that because now i had to re master it the right way because its easier to play in the future with the one in the picture

Pretty much just practice the same chord over and over again then go to a different one until you know all the chords to a song by heart. Then put all the chords together at the end is a pretty simple way of putting it.

do a chord per day. thats what i did and i learned all my chords in like a month and a half, after you learn the chords do 2 types of rhythms per a week or two. i would recomenned you play on an acoustic guitar just cause its easier

I play acoustic i dont have any chords memorized yet i dont even know them all i need to look them up when im at home but ccant because of internet issues

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you besides to learn scales and practice. I'm learning acoustic myself right now. I just wanted to say, what an awesome song to learn! I can only play the simple notes in the beginning. :D

You should learn basic chords first. That's the most important thing. Chords like G,C,D, Em, A, Am. This will really help you. I recently taught myself how to play and that's how I learned.
