Circle help

OpenStudy (sbuck98):

OpenStudy (mathmale):

The formula for arc length is given by s= r(theta), or\[s = r \theta\]

OpenStudy (mathmale):

What is the radius of this particular circle? What is the central angle, the one that defines the arc? If the central angle is in degrees, you must change it into radians before using the formula \[s = r \theta\].

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Questions welcome. I'd like to see your work, if you want feedback on it.

OpenStudy (dinamix):

@sbuck98 r is reduis not diameter diameter= 2*reduis

OpenStudy (mathmale):

A word to the wise: it's radius, not reduis.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

@sbuck98 ? ?

OpenStudy (loganator):

Mathmale, stop making people look stupid.

OpenStudy (loganator):

That is all.

OpenStudy (dinamix):

lol @mathmale

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Who looks worse, he who spells radius as radius or he who spells it as reduis? Effective communication requires correct spelling and grammar. It's worth the effort to learn both. Peace.

OpenStudy (dinamix):

@mathmale ty for correct my mistake peace

OpenStudy (mathmale):
