what is ''Interquartile Range'' like how do i find it

OpenStudy (mathmale):

"Interquartile range" has to do with "box plots" and "5-number summaries." Given a set of data, you must arrange the data in ascending order, identify the median, the 1st and 3rd quartiles, the minimum and the maximum. The Interquartile Range is the difference (numerical difference) between Q3 and Q1.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

IQR = Q3 - Q1

OpenStudy (mathmale):

for more info, please do an Internet search for "interquartile range."
