When a substance goes from a gas to a liquid, it goes through a ________ change. chemical phase bond property

OpenStudy (smoore777):

What do you think the answer is? It definitely isn't a property change, because that isn't a thing :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is a phase change. It is important to understand and remember that solid, liquid, gas, and plasma are phases that a substance may be able to achieve (caveat one or two oddball phases). They are essentially the arrangement of the molecules at that given temperature or condition. So when something is changing states, such as from solid to liquid or liquid to gas, it is undergoing a phase change, and the current structure of molecules is being disrupted.
