Question

I have a problem. There is this guy in my math class that was flirting with me non-stop for 3 weeks, and I even bought me chocolate. I didn't like him, so I told him, saying "welcome to the friend zone bro" in a text. It wasn't meant to be mean, just playful and fun, but now he is really depressed and won't even speak to me. I paid him back for the chocolate today, but he wouldn't even look at me. I feel really bad cuz I crushed his poor little heart and now I don't know what to do. Help please!
