plz help
@AihberKhan
Hmm... I completely forgot how to solve these. Let me think...
So we know that line w is parallel to segment YZ
right
Okay. So angle 1 and angle 3 are alternate interior angles.
This is due to the fact that line w and segment YZ are parallel. Due to this fact I think that angle 3 has the same measurement as angle 1. :) HOWEVER, You may still want to confirm :) Let me call someone over here to confirm :)
@rebeccaxhawaii Can you confirm? :)
i have no idea how to do this
@Testing123guest Okay. So I know that the line w and segment YZ is parallel and they are cross cutting each other. So due to this fact I think the answer is angle 3! I am still going to ask someone to confirm, but do you at least understand my reasoning? :) @Testing123guest
@Michele_Laino Can you confirm?
lol okay
xD
@Directrix Can you please confirm :)
Lol no one is confirming xD Lets just wait lol
@IrishBoy123 Can you plz help us out
@Michele_Laino You are good at this.
@Conqueror Can you please check our answer?
Its not much but i found this http://openstudy.com/updates/54fa1e54e4b092120384f659
Not good at math...
okay i will just move on and come back to it here
LOL okay! :) So a “straight” line equals 180 degrees. So since angle 1, 2, and 3 create a “straight” line... what do you think the answer is? :)
180?
Yes! :)
great now we are getting somewere
And how can we prove that it is a straight line? Because it is parallel... :) You always want to make sure that it is straight and not just by looking at it :)
Okay 1st of all I love the title of all your pictures xD Second... what answer choices do you think we can eliminate off the bat?
Thank you lol. and A?
Yes because that is clearly not true. Now when looking at B... is there any PROOF that they are equal? If yes, then where... if no... then we can eliminate. So what do you think? Yes or no?
yes???
Unfortunately not.. there is no PROOF that shows that the angles are equal. Proof may include, the degrees of all angles, etc.. So we can eliminate that one! :)
Now looking at c... just by reading that answer... what do you think? Can we eliminate?
no
Why can’t we eliminate? Once again... you must read that it says what statement is ALWAYS true.
So angle a and angle b will not ALWAYS equal c. Due to that we can eliminate.
So now obviously since we eliminated a, b, and c the answer is D. This is because, all triangle angles must equal 180 and that is ALWAYS true! :)
Crap sorry i meant eliminate D and C is the answer
elimenate c and d is the answer man i am sorry
Haha its okay! As long as you understand :)
okay can u help me with just two more
Yes :)
You were correct on the very first one, @AihberKhan. :)
One question per post. :P
One question per post. :P
Oh okay! Thank you! Yes i was just about to say! @Testing123guest can you please post the questions in another thread? :) I will still help you!
If it is the first question, you'd like to confirm, did you get 180 ?
